Claude Forest, Jr.

My journey into sustainable agriculture began long before my formal education. Growing up watching my grandparents tend their home garden sparked a lifelong fascination with how humans can work with—rather than against—natural systems to produce food.

After founding and running a successful surf shop in Maine, I felt called back to the land. I pursued formal education in Plant & Soil Science while simultaneously managing agricultural operations, allowing me to immediately apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.

My approach combines ancestral wisdom with modern scientific understanding, respecting the complex relationships within natural systems while employing innovative techniques to maximize productivity and minimize environmental impact.

Whether you’re looking to grow a few herbs on your patio or transform acres into a thriving food forest, I’ll meet you where you are and help guide your journey toward greater self-sufficiency and environmental stewardship.
